Farmington

A Far Cry from the City Just Next Door

Farmington is a small farming community on the outskirts of Newington. Once a part of the city of Newington, Farmington gained its independence in 1746 after a bloody Civil War. Today, relations between the metropolis and the farm town are amiable. Many Newington citizens travel to the town for day excursions, and Farmington citizens travel to the city for nights at the Opera. Farmington is a great community for retirees and young folk alike since its tranquil atmosphere and picturesque enviroment make it a great area for relaxing constiutionals or rearing a family. Many Farmington residents keep livestock or grow crops and sell their products in town or in Newington, bringing fresh meats and produce to the city.
